There is a big difference from those who 'think' they know about omputers and those that do. I have lost track of the number of computers that have been 'fixed' by people only to have them brought to me to sort out.

PC World(amongst others) are box shifters. They care not what you buy only that you do.

I'm not a computer expert by any stretch of the imagination, but I do know a few things, and am learning new things as and when they crop up.

I think I learned far more when I was in charge of the IT where I used to work, than at any other time.

I only got that job because I was discussing cookies with someone over lunch. They then decided that I knew far more than anyone else in the company about computers, and handed the mess (and it was a mess) over to me.

6 months later, new IT Support company, new server, and hardly any problems (where previously there were problems on a daily basis)
