Web Site Design

Can someone help me by forwarding some information on how to make a simple web site? I don't want anything special. I simply need a site that I can add a list of members (of my group) and a few pictures. The simpler the better. I need to be able to update it often, so I need to edit the members very simply.

Thanks.

Re: Web Site Design

Thats if you upgrade the software to full version at Invision Power Services. You only need to do that if your going all out and setting up a proper forum with your own hosting.

Re: Web Site Design

Thanks for that Roy. That reason did cross my mind but I wasn’t sure.

I have tried their Company Forums but at the moment I do not have permission to post although I have registered. Maybe tomorrow.

What happened I set up two new Categories under “Forum Control” in “Admin CP” but when I clicked on them so I can view them I got the following message;

Quote:
Sorry, an error occurred. If you are unsure on how to use a feature, or don't know why you got this error message, try looking through the help files for more information.

The error returned was:

Sorry, some required files are missing, if you intended to view a topic, it's possible that it's been moved or deleted. Please go back and try again.
I was hoping to find a step by step how too but no joy.

I’ll tell you what; if anyone thinks this is easy setting up a forum, like Accyweb then just give this a try and you will soon change your mind.

You need to set up forums under the categories as well....

You should be able to post after registering, you don't even have to confirm your email address!

Send a PM to the guy called support - I know him quite well and he should be able to help you out!
