Which Is The Best?

My sister currently has her PC in the dining room. The internet is connected via an extension cable from the MAIN phone socket in the living room. I am going to put another computer (with internet) upstairs.

QUESTION TIME

Which way would be the ..............

Best?

Quickest?

Cheapest?

?

Wireless router maybe. I was in Staples today and they had a few on special offer. You could connect the downstairs one with a wire to keep costs down and just have a wireless adapter for the upstairs one.

yep, wifi router is teh best way to go, should cost ~£40-50 all in. Gives you a level of safety from people trying to hack your PC.

Cheapest, two basic wifi adaptors, setup an ad-hoc connection and then share teh current internet connection - downside, main PC needs to be on for other one to have internet
