I have heard that with windows 10 you do not get the option to choose which updates you have...that the system downloads updates automatically. I am not sure where I have read this...but is there some way of disabling this facility. I like to choose what updates I install?

Margaret. a friend installed my W10 from disc, and then gave me a 30 minute teach in. Cost me £40 but well worth it as far as I am concerned, I could not get along with the W10 download and gave up on that after 2 weeks. Now I am perfectly happy with what I have got, in fact I think it is great and littlepom thinks the same.
If you would like me to ask him to help you send me a PM with your email or phone number and I will ask him for you.
