Question windows xp home edition

could anyone advise please, had new tower built from scratch just one problem the windows xp version is not genuine, anyone know where i could get a genuine version at a reasonable price. marg.

Where did you get the tower from? If you inform microsoft who gave you the none-genuine copy, I believe they will give you a free genuine copy...

If you want a genuine copy so you can get all the updates, then go here wwwunlocker-forums.co.uk have a good look around and you`ll find how to get the updates with your copied version.

The shop on Blackburn Rd at the bottom of Willows Lane could get you a genuine one but I don't know how much it would be. They got one for us.

javascript:void(window.g_sDisableWGACheck='all')

put that in your adress bar and click go then goto the custom bit and pick your updates - if you have an xp copy thats not the real thing...

or set autoupdates on, will DL and install all the critical updates. Not affected by WGA check - again if you dont have a real xp copy...

of course I dont have a 'hooky copy' of xp and I dont agree with this pirate malarky at all.....
