Wireless Networking

Have finally got round to making the printer/copier/scanner wireless. Now I don't have to disconnect the printer from the main pc, then reconnect it to the laptop, just to print.
Can just sit in the armchair in t'other room and print to my hearts content

And there was none of either!!!

Maybe they turn the PC off when not using it.

After all, as an (allegedly), wise man said about routers,

The same principle must be applied to spare computers.

We certainly do turn it off when not in use Neil. I only ever use the laptop so this makes it much easier.

Do you misspell THE on purpose, or is it a problem that you have? I'm not trying to be difficult, but I notice that you do it repeatably (including 3 times in one sentence). I know that there's some silly trend on the internet of misspelling the word in the way you do, but I'd be very surprised if you were doing it for that reason.

Well I have to go and turn the printer on to start and then when i go to turn it off I can collect anything I have printed. The main reason for making it wireless was to prevent me having to disconnect the USB which involved moving the tower under the computer desk every time.

aah....what you need is either a well trained small child or some kind of pointy stick/ spatuala dooly...... like they have for getting pizzas out of the oven.... one end for pressing the on button and one for scooping the pics

lol

LOL
It would have to be the child option emamum as printer's in the next room so the spatula would have to be about 12metres long and highly flexible

No he doesn't spell it wrong on purpose, entwisi is a very intelligent person but unfortunately has a blind spot with certain words, if only you could either:-

1/ Allow him this little irritation.

or

B/ Post as well as he does.

Then, you would have a right to criticise.
