Adobe Flash - Serious vunerability -

Guys,
Flash currently has a serious vunerability which is being exploited, see
https://www.adobe.com/support/securi...apsb11-26.html

please be careful and update all flash players asap

MODS: I know you guys dont like us putting these things in General Chat but a lot of people dont read the Tech forums, could we have a "Tech Warnings " sub forum or something set up where those of us who are likely to find this stuff can post suitable warnings for those who care nothing for the underlying technology and just want to "use" their computer?

Just a thought!

entwisi, thanks for that. I did get an update request this morning but it didn't connect so I closed it(you always get another request next time you switch on).
It looks a serious problem, I've made sure I have the latest version now!
Thanks again.

I've just been through to the Flash Player web page and it's told me Google Chrome will update my Flash player when a new version comes out. Does this sound right ?

for Chrome, yes, for whatever reason Chrome bundles the player inside itself so You need to wait for Google to release a new version.

Firefox did the same for me a couple of weeks ago.
