Advice Needed

We are having trouble getting into the computer Ianto bought for the kids. It is telling us that parental control has been activated and none of us know the password. Consequently the computer is sat there idle. Is there any way we will be able to access it without knowing the password?

Re: Advice Needed

Is there no password prompt to give you a bit of a clue what it might be? Entwisi will probably have the perfect answer. (Linux?)

Who activated the parental control, if it was the previous owner, they should know. If it was bought from a shop take it back. Have you tried accessing the computer in safe mode, usualy pressing F8 at bootup.

Re: Advice Needed

The person who activated it is Bernie's late husband Retlaw.
