apple dont half suck

got an ipod for my lad and since installing the songs i have rebuilt my pc which shoudlnt be any concern to teh ipod what so ever

unfortunatley apples software is very poop to say teh least and dosnt let you take songs from teh ipod to teh pc so when you install your itunes again on a fresh pc it will sync the ipod to teh computer which has no songs resulting in wiping your ipod of all its music , films etc

luckily someone with half a brain made some software that can drag music from your ipod to your pc so that you dont loose all your music

always said apple sucked monkey poop

no, you didn't RTFM thats all!

You can set teh ipod to manual sync which stops stuff like this or you can/should backup your PC so you don't lose anything in the first place. Lots os ways to stop it happening

apple shoud allow file transfers both ways period so that people who arnt aware of other applications out there dont have to loose their stuff, incidently these other applications arnt free either but do have an allowence of up to 10 transfers before you have to buy them

there is no way what so ever for you to save your ipod files using itunes and to say these things are targeted at kids you would think ease of use woudl be top priority

my brother bought a new pc at xmas and his daughter had to redo all her ipod because when she went to add files it synced up and wiped her ipod

so i stand by my statement that apple suck

one more thing

have you bought an ipod , it comes with nothing , if you dont have the internet you cant get itune for your pc , apple are too tight to pack a cd with their product

I'm in full agreement with you, Chav. Apple don't half suck; they fully suck!

I didn't back up... the computer went tits-up... now I have a shed-load of music that I want to get back onto my hard drive from the little white thingy.

Go on, gizza clue.

Re: apple dont half suck

Strange how I have a little tool called Ipod Music Liberator that is totally free, pulls back all your songs(no limit chav!)

Perhaps I'm just a little better at Googling than you

as for not giving you iTunes, it came with mine, I also believe that the video ones come with it. If they don't give you a copy with a Nano then yes i think that is a bit rough.

I have had my iPod for years, it dual boots Apple and Linux. its been totally reliable, even when I managed to screw it up completely it had a way of being rescued that took me minutes to find on the net.

who said I paid for it, its freeware.....

theres more to life than P2P you know!

why risk playing on networks where viruses and crap live in abundance when there are perfectly good safe sites to download stuff from

btw

IPod.Access.2.9.2

http://www.jakeludington.com/downloa...r_windows.html

you can either back up your songs to a folder or back them up to teh itunes libary

i recomend backing them up to a folder first just incase itunes wipes your ipod
