Re: Bluetooth pc dongle help

Delete all the software and start again install the software BEFORE you put the dongle in its usb always install software before pluging usb devices in or it has problems finding it

rofl he sounds like someone I know who has been known to refer to his 'dingle-dangle-wotsit'

Did you ever sort your problem out Mel? I've found that if I plug mine in on the desk through an extension from one of the back ports it's happier than when I plug it directly into one of the front ports and yet other things work perfectly well through the front so I can't fathom that one out. I just plug it in where it wants to be and leave it to its own devices. (ouch! - sorry, couldn't help myself)

I just got one from a cheap phone shop ( only cost a tenner) however when I have tried to load the disk ( its says this is not a microsoft product) and loading this can harm your computer...

so its going back to the shop today: I know you get what you pay for:

Maybe your one is like the I have just got

This is normally due to Microsoft wanting an horrendous amount of money to 'license' teh drivers. I've never found anything that breaks it. IMHO install it, you will be fine.
