Broadband downloads

Hello
I have just hooked up to broadband from having a 56k modem, the only problem that I have, is I have limited download capacity then, I start paying. my usage has shot up since going onto this set up, and I have been sailing pretty close to my limit. I can find out my usage stats from my internet server,but it is always the following day,
Does anybody know of a program that can monitor your usage on screen and keep a running total.

Thanks for that imformation Entwisi, I had to sift through a lot before I found a good one , a lot just monitored your time,not your usage stats.some where trail versions only, but then I found this one, It is called tautologly bandwidth meter do you know if they are safe can they disguise themself as spyware.

RUn Spybot and Adaware to check after installation. Or just google it ' tautologly bandwidth meter + spyware'
