Bt Broadand Help

I've been having difficulties logging into my LloydsTSB account for about 10 days, why I don't know, just wouldn't have any at all, I contact Lloyds tech support by phone this morning but they said it was a BT fault and that they have had lots of calls regarding access. I email BT with the problem and within 30 minutes thy phoned, this chap asked to take control of my computer, which he did and the problem was sorted in two minutes, thats only the second problem I've had since getting BT Broadband and can't complain about their serves.

did you watch what he did?

I'm betting they have a dodgy DNS server or something and he pointed you at a different one.

You can of course use an independant one so would be less likely to be at the mercy of issues like this.

Thnks entwisi, no I didn't manage to keep up with what he was doing, he was pretty damn quick, thanks for the link, will certainly use it
