Re: Hands Up all those who can access a neighbours WiFi..?

Combination of methods

Authorised MACs is a good start, add WPA encryption to taste, disable ESSID broadcast and use a secure ESSID( non dictionary, alpha numeric with at least two non aplha-num symbols).

Good article here http://www.wi-fi.org/OpenSection/sec...etup.asp?TID=2

Thanks Ian. Read and understood. All I need to do is make a little change at home and all should be ok.

In my old house my dad and our neighbour used to share the internet as well as the cost! Worked out best for both of us!
