Alt-PrtScr, open your image software, file-new, then paste

Re: How do I do a screenshot?

If you want some quite powerful Image editing software for FREE then may I recommend "The GIMP"

Download it here http://gimp-win.sourceforge.net/

Install this first http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gim....6-1-setup.zip

then this http://downloads.sourceforge.net/gim...86-setup-1.zip

(you need to download the zips then run the installer inside it)

Re: How do I do a screenshot?

If it needs installing go to
Start-control panel-add remove programs
On the left menu select "add remove windows components"
"Accessories and details" and click "Details"
"accessories" and click "details"
Put a tick in "Paint"
OK
Not sure but I think it will ask for your windows disk

Re: How do I do a screenshot?

I've never actually used Irfanview so I'll leave that one for somebody who has.

Re: How do I do a screenshot?

You save the image in IrfanView as a JPG. Then it depends on the website you are trying to post it to. You need to either attach it to a post (most forums will let you do this up to a certain file size) or you need to host the image somewhere. as in webspace. Most ISPs give you a small amount to use or there are places like Flickr, PBase, etc that will give you unlimited photo hosting for ~£13/year. Ebay offer hosting of images at a certain price/image. You should consider how much Ebay ing you do and how many images/year as it may be cheaper to pay Flickr. (IIRC Ebay charge 12p/image so it looking like over 100 images(not auctions) per year and its cheaper to use Flickr)
