Is it possible???

Hi All you tech's just wanting to know if it possible to convert a windows98 pc to run with windows XP.

Have been donated a tower pc but it has Windows98 on it and I use XPPro at home or would it be better and eaiser to buy a new tower???????????

Depends on the spec of the PC, anything over a P2-300 with 128M Ram will run XP(a bit slow in starting new apps and you can't run too many at once), Realistically you want P3 -450 with 256Meg as a reasonable base.
