It is indeed a bargain, but I can't see it having 3 tuners. Sky+ allows you to record 2 channels at the same time whilst watching something you have previously recorded, but it won't have 3 tuners which is what you'd need to do what you say above.

Yes that is the case.

Seems like Sky dont know there product as that what the lady quoted to me, but on messing with the new box you can only record 2 channels at the same time and you must be watching one of them.

Love the pause, rewind live TV though.

Re: Is this a a good deal?

As a quick Update.

My new Mobile phone did not arrive today as agreed, So I rang BT to be advised they have renewed my 18 months contract but cancelled the phone order so I was getting nothing, well apart from a 18 month contract.

So after speaking to 4 idiots at BT and being cut off I was in Kill mode.

So back on to BT a NICE lady answered I kicked off advising I was going to cancel and go with Sky for Free. Unless they could offer a little sweetner.

So Ive now got my mobile internet phone thing (RRP £170) coming within 2 days (was 5 before) and also managed to blag a new Black Home Hub and Phone for Free. Bonus.

Who says winging gets you nothing.

Will report on the mobile once it arrives.

I've had Sky HD now for over twelve months, thats sky + as well but its hard dive will record around 160 hours. If you have terrestrial as well as Sky you can watch say BBC 1 whilst recording 2 progs on Sky, you can also record two progs whilst watching Sky anytime as well
