Nokia N95 8Gb

Got myself one of these phones.

Anyone else?

What applications have you for it.

I have aquired a few already, but want more.

The battery life seems ok to me, I hear people say it only last a few hours, but mines been ok and its had a hammering with it being a new toy.

I am using Opera Mini as a web browser / any better ones?

I have instaled accelarator and Python. So any apps that require this will be fine.

I didnt think it could do as much as it can.

Overall, impressed with it.

Re: Nokia N95 8Gb

The 8Gb version has a bigger screen and bigger battery so battery life is supposed to be better.

I use Garmin satnav on mine

Re: Nokia N95 8Gb

The N95 comes with Nokia maps which you have to Nokia for the pleasure of using - big con in my opinion, you buy a top of the range expensive phone and they want to charge you to use it. If you install Garmin XT you get a fully functioning satnav very similar to use as the Garmin in car stand alone units.

Re: Nokia N95 8Gb

I have zipped some stuff up here

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

lots of Themes here. you may need to set the date on your phone back a year for some of them as the certificate may have expired, once installed you can reset the clock to today.

RapidShare: Easy Filehosting

I'll upload more stuff tomorrow

Re: Nokia N95 8Gb

sorry, forgot to add

If you have a Sony E or some samsungs/others that won't install jars directly you need a jad creator liek this Download JADMaker 1.15 - JADMaker creates a JAD file for your .JAR Java Games - Softpedia

Obviously this applies only to teh first link, the themes are late(last 3 years) N series/e series Nokia only....
