NTL broadband you do not need to dial (unless your using a usb cable)
i dont know where you get this idea from but im with NTL and on usb but i dont dial out its there all the time

NTL is by far betterthan BT i have had them both before and with BT i just cant get started

NTL cable modems can work on a usb lead or an ethernet cable. If your cable modem is on a usb lead and not on an ethernet cable the computer still thinks it a dialup modem. You may have a set top box or a cable modem i have not seen before.

No, But it is a good get out off jail free statment. so you dont have to click connect then and its not on auto connect and you are using a usb cable modem using the usb port and your not on a set top box, all these questions and no answers.
