Sandisk Extreme memory cards

Just been reading about fake memory cards on Ebay, they say up to 90% of Sandisk Extreme 111 Compact Flash cards for sale on Ebay are fakes, heres a link to see if you have real or fakes.
I got one recently from Picstop because they were offering free capture one software licence (for converting raw files) with them otherwise I might have got one from Ebay

Re: Sandisk Extreme memory cards

I've never really seen the point of paying for teh extreme cards, in JPG mode mine does 32 shots without slowdown(I tried it). DPReview reckons to get 33 at most

Re: Sandisk Extreme memory cards

I got a free one (512mb) with the 30D and compared it to the ones I already had and it was much faster at writing to the camera, I got told the best raw software for the canons is capture one and came across Picstop doing a free licence with Extreme cards so I bought another as the 512 wasn't big enough.
Suppose it depends on the cards you are using but they are certainly faster than the ones I had previously.
Heard some good reports about MrMemory own brand CF cards
2GB 133X PRO Compact Flash Card
for only
£14.99
