Scart plugs are horrible clunky things, and a ****** to plug in if your reaching round the back of a tv/video. Given a choice I'd have RGB connected via BNC's (the bayonet fitting) for video any day of the week as you can tell exactly what is connected to what and it's not gonna fall out. You don't find Scarts on pro video gear after all.

its rare u find em on owt these days Col, tho yeh i know what u mean u only have to touch the scart n it falls off its perch n all same colour so u dont know whats what ... joys of technology i'suppose lol

Yeah, was a bit of wishful thinking on my part...I'd still have phonos over scart, even those are better than a big numb scart.
