BBC iPlayer - Jeff Beck at Ronnie Scott's
Is this possible?

Re: Storing from BBC iplayer

Legally I don't think it is possible. Which is a shame when our licence fees pay for the production.

It is possible, but not easy.

Although one of the screen capture programs should enable you to do it.

Your licence fee most certainly did not pay for that production. Almost all programmes broadcast by the BBC are produced independently, and the rights are owned by the production companies. Your licence fee will have been used to pay for the right to broadcast the material, and possibly for some repeat broadcast rights, but NOT for the intellectual property rights. That's the reason for the DRM protection; it's demanded by the production companies, not foist upon you by the BBC.

Re: Storing from BBC iplayer

There are other sites where tv dramas etc are already captured & turned into AVi's to save you the bother, you only have to download them.

I wont mention them in the open.
