Video Editing

Need to edit a video because i want to put it on youtube , anyone know of any free good to use software?

I assume you mean under Windows

Strangely Windows Movie maker is actually quite good. If you want to do wizzy things download the demo of Sony Vegas. It rocks!

what codec is it in? I assume either 3gp or mp4?

I'd look at getting a converter to make it wmv or avi

I have been using Camtasia studio to do video editing at work, its excellent - however not free. (unless you know where to look )

I was talking about it today & someone suggested wINK does well.

If you have "windows movie maker live" it will let you upload your video direct to youtube
