Yes I know they did...that is what makes it so damned irritating.

Like an itch you can't scratch.
Anyway glad it made you grin Rob.

In serious mode... I am still in hopes that Google will one day take out m$... somebody needs to do it!! now that company is the ultimate scum.

You mentioned Bing... to my knowledge, m$ have never successfully made a decent search engine.

Bing came on a new computer as a default search...I hated it...wiped it off right away.
And my phone is not a nokia 310 it is a nokia 6310i......as old as the hills(well in phone terms) and has a battery that lasts forever.

This is mine - £15 in Morrisons about five years ago. Great battery life, cheap as chips on Virgin PAYG when you use it as little as I do. And I neither know nor want to know how to do texts. The best thing about it is it's tiny and weighs nothing at all. I love it.

Re: Windows 7 home premium

there are other app stores, how do you feel about amazon? Their app store is 'nearly' as good as Play store

go to this link from your tablet

It lasts six (or more) weeks for me.

I have had other phones......my daughter once bought me one for Christmas(thinking she would upgrade me to a camera phone) I didn't use it more than I use my nokia, and certainly didn't use if for pictures(I have a camera for that)...the battery life was abysmal....and most times when I came to turn it on the battery was either dead or taking its last breaths....so I go back to the good old Nokia...second hand and bought from my sister in law. (who seems to upgrade her phone every two minutes)

:O haha. Had two of the 6300. it was a nice solid phone. The first was out of my mates mothers cataloge, had no insurance, and a few weeks after owning it I had dropped it into a cup of coffee
Liked the phone that much, I got one on contract and got a 1500Inspiron laptop as part of the deal. 2 years later I got my first 'smart phone' it was A samsung pixon... turned out it wasn't that smart.

Dude its no where near 'nearly'.....

....well perhaps if seen from anything other than on a KindleFireHD

Best thing about the amazon appstore is they give a free app away everyday.

great uptime!!

I used to think, back in the day, that Nokia made the best phones. If they paired with Google to make a nexus phone I would be all over it! However they do windows phones....

I started the audiobooks a week or so ago. I had never seen or heard/read of it before.
