Post Windows update

Having had pop up messages on MSN for the last few days telling me mine is insecire (5.0) I finally logged out as user and logged in as admin to upgrade (win2k prof)

I updated MSN and while in admin popped windows update on and got service pack 4 and the latest security updates like a good little boy.

I then rebooted where appropriate to be told I cant boot up.. My bios doesnt come up to the standard of the ACPI that I just installed.. The computer wuldnt load.

3 sodding hrs later. A talk to my mate Arshad a SR electronics and I am finally back on after booting in safe mode about 12 times.. having to install everyhting from monitor and sound to network and modem through ide and the lot..

Sick as a parrot

The next time I get an alert box saying do you want to update. do you want to trust microsoft.. I will hit the never trust microsoft button..  arrrgh

the top part of the post was not aimed at you harry

a lot of people go to sites and see free  update so they click without reading
