Hollands and Pukka Pies are available at many grounds. I would guess that the person above could only tell the difference by the degree of which they are burnt

Hardly a claim to fame for having the best pie based on one man's taste buds and if anybody is daft enough to buy a book to find out in which order the 91 pies fared please post it on here so we can all laugh at you

Best pies for me are Hollands spud and meat... maybe cos I can't get them down here.. but to be honest the best steak n kidney pie I've had at footy was a Pukka pie at Millwall.

Re: Best pies

Have to say Pukka Pies are amongst the worst ive every had, all pastry and the small bit of filling was crap!! I'd agree that Hollands probably the best of the mass produced pies. Clayton Park Bakery are better though, but on a smaller scale than Hollands (Getting bigger though). But by far and away the best pies ive ever had are made by a Butcher in St Annes called Giggli's, always get some to put in my freezer when i'm there. The Steak and Kidney, Steak and Guiness, and Meat and Potato are superb...they do a mean Cheese and Onion Pie too! Yum Yum, if you get to St Annes give em a try, dont think you'll be dissappointed!

Could be a good little business venture if you did I'm sure you would be mowed under with orders. So if you decide to start selling can I be your first customer please?

Re: Best pies

Clayton Park do a very good peppered steak pie....that is what I could smell baking at 6.30 on Tuesday morning.
They make very good cakes too.
