Are you going?

I'll say the same result, but its the only time of the season that I actually care about Rovers winning (as well as the return fixture obviously)!

Re: blackburn v man utd

We got Blackburn live for the second week and as they were playing The scum I actually wanted them to win (you won't hear that often), good goal by Dickov and good defence by Rovers untill Amorrosa (probably spelt wrong) got sent off and yes he was the last man and he decked Saha so had to go. Pederson missed a sitter, yorke was ineffective when he came on, why take off Dickov? Ronaldo is a cheat and the sooner refs get some balls and start booking him the better the prem will be, how did they come up with 4mins of extra time? God help teams if the officals are so scared of Ferguson away from home. Oh yeah Saha did knock the ball back for Smith with his hand.

Re: blackburn v man utd

Saw it today (on TV). Utd deserved to win (God I hate saying that!) and a draw was probably a fair result. Friedal played great and was MOM. YES Bazf it was a clear handball by Saha and where 4 mins of added time came from is a mystery to me too. I dont care about either team (Stanley and Liverpool for me) but it was a very good game to watch for a neutral like me (even if I was slightly wanting Rovers to win!).

Re: blackburn v man utd

Man utd should have won with the chances, but football is about scoring, and we scored and they scored 1-1. Dissapointing after watching what was going on in the match i thought we would win and we deserved it for the way we kept them out for so long. Oh well 3points taken from us now.

Re: blackburn v man utd

Looks like the answer to the question has been answered by a certain ex Liverpool player....

Souness' assistant, Dean Saunders, was more forthcoming about the root of Blackburn's complaints, however, insisting: "I saw the fourth official start to signal three minutes injury time and when Alex Ferguson complained, he changed it to four."
Fergie had no sympathy for his fellow Scot.
"Graeme will be happy with a draw. We could have scored six or seven goals," he said.
The question is, would Wayne Rooney have found a way past Friedel?
United on Saturday increased their offer for the Everton and England striker, in excess of the £23.5million tabled by Newcastle and believed to be £25million.

Re: blackburn v man utd

Here is a totally biased view. The 4th official gets up with 1 minute showing on his card.Ferguson then goes over and talks to him all of a sudden out of 1 minute there is 4 minutes.Granted a ball can deflect off a players hand., but when it bounces back 4 yards and directly to the feet of your own attackers well what more can you say.Only good thing was that i myself took part in an International football Tournament at weekend and we came 4th.Results and photos can be found on www.aslc.de
All the stuff is in English anyway.I ma the one with the Skull Cap on

We had a point robbed last saturday, when southampton got a penalty for craig short heading the ball away. and beattie falling to the floor for no apparent reason.

Re: blackburn v man utd

It does not matter the point is that there have been so many bad descisions against Rovers it is unbelievable.Souness is on his way, yesterday they even mentioned it on sky News there may be a link with Souness and Newcastle.Wonder how many good players he would sell on from there that did not agree with him?
