Now this is in scotland mind you but would you allow alcohol at a rangers vs celtic match? It does seem strange though that they can drink alcohol at the rugby match but not at a football match!!!
I quite like the bit at the bottom though....
Drinking is a serious sport in Glasgow and had it been a Commonwealth Games event we would sweep the boards.
If spug was about he'd agree with that last bit.

There's a big difference between football and rugby scottish style, The Old Firm match on Sunday kicks of at 12-30 that is saw they can't get to blethered before the match, Celtic and Rangers fans hate each other with a vengeance, I thought it was a old wifes tale until I worked at the Celtic Supporters Club in the early seventies, then I was edified. When they wouldn't have anything blue in the place until it came to laying the carpet, which was a lovely shade of Rangers Blue, when I asked the reason I was told, "you walk on that. Some weeks later a called back at the club to iron out a few faults, I took a look at the carpet and it was covered with cigarette burns, a case of when the carpet is full please use the ashtrays
