Thats the crux of the matter to me, When Terry was accused/charged, immeidiatly Capello should have removed the captaincy from him, which was long before the postponement, job sorted, I have little time fer the F.A., but agree wi em on this, simply cos the manager fer whatever reason didn't do his job.

Whatever ... I think we can agree that the whole thing is a dog's breakfast If this really is the age of communication, Capello and the FA seem not to have noticed.

Terry is a helluva football player, and a great inspirational leader. I for one, hope he didn't do what he is accused of. I have the feeling that the powers that be at the FA are secretly keeping their fingers crossed that he is guilty. As of now ... he is innocent.

I don't think it even crossed Capello's mind about the John Terry subject and for me it showed his lack of interest in the job as manager..John Terry has not lost his job as a player for club or country and that is how it should be wether he is guilty or not.. but Capello should have made a move over Terry being the capitain simply because of the loss of respect behind the scence from other players in the England team and it may have even caused problems in selecting the team.

To be honest if he'd have been totally innocent he wouldn't have been summoned to court Eric, whenever they show the match incident Terry's mouth is always blocked out so you can lip read what he's saying, I think, seeing JT is a very high profile player, if the DPP didn't think they had a good chance of a conviction they wouldn't have let the case go ahead

Re: Capello gone
He is presumed innocent and does not have to prove that - the other party (whoever it may be) has to prove that he is guilty.
However, someone in a position of authority, or a position where they are expected to set a good example, should be at least suspended from that position until everything is sorted out.
Personally, I think he should never have had the captaincy restored after the Wayne Bridge incident.

Re: Capello gone
Well it seems Rovers fans have a sense of humour, prior to the kickoff on Saturday they were chanting Keano for England

Re: Capello gone
If there was anything about him & he had any sense of decency John Terry would have stood down from the captaincy until such time as it is sorted & so avoided the situation altogether.

With his track record I don't know why we was reinstalled after his prior discretion's, I mean Terry has always found it easy for courting the headlines for all the wrong reasons over the years, there's a lot in the statement Caesars wife....................
