EEEWOOD Weekly
Rovers Sweep Awards
At the recent awards ceremony The Rovers swept the board with a display that has been laking during the season, they came away with more awards then any other team in the premiership and a triumphant M Hughes said "pellhau Chwychwi oodi sheep Tithau cardiff" which translates to "thanks". The Rovers won
1. Quietest surpporters home
2. Quietest surpporters away
3. Least likely to attend an away match within 50miles
4. Least likely to attend an away match period.
5. Worst song ever.
6. Geography award for being closer to Wrexham then Birmingham.
and finally a special award was given this year to the team that took the least amount of surpporters to Cardiff ever (this includes the springboks) and this was also awarded to The Rovers.
So a sweep of all the awards and a great evening had by all, a greatfull thanks was given to all who attended with Bashir Al Amoudi giving the acceptance speech, "On behalf of my fellow Rovers surpporters, all 7 of you, I am a very happy man and I accept these awards with pride, and hope that next year, the way we've been playing, we will be able to at least bring less surpporters to your town. I have been following Rovers since Tommy Ball was a lad and I hold the record for most attendances during a season which was 11 during the great cup run of 1906 and never have I been prouder of The Rovers then now, I will have to stop now as a tear is welling up in my eye"
The trophys were going to be on display at EEEWood but as nobody goes there it was decided to display them at a surpporters house on a monthly basis, if any one would like to volunteer to display the trophys there are still 3 months available and it has been decided that you really don't have to surpport the Rovers just wear blue and white for a day or two.
