England win

England have beat a poor Northeren Ireland team 4-0 at old trafford

Another Boring game but a good result looks like we will be topping the group just for Azerbijan (spelling???) on wednesday another easy game me reckons

The England team were well disciplined and effective although i thought in the last 20 minutes that they stopped going forward

Excellent result.........i predicted 3-0 so i was close.....but one was an own goal......so i was more or less right!
Rooney is an absolute menace for defenders.........bring on azerbaijan.

Actually if you count Lampard shot deflected off the head it would be 2 own goals but hey so long as they count for England whos bothered ?

Lampards shouldnt be classed as an own goal as his initial shot was going on goal so therefore it is not an own goal

Correct Mr Timmins....

if a shot is going on target and then is deflected in by a defender it doesnt count as an O.G, however if a shot is heading off target and it is deflected in by a defender then it is an O.G

That move that Rooney pulled when he was backed up in the corner absolutely deserved a goal anyway, imo.

I unfortunately haven't been keeping up to date with all the games - who did we draw against?
