espn classics

anybody else out there addicted to espn classics just been watchin liverpool in 1977 getting ready to watch villa v birmingham in 1980 at 10 o clock they were the days.........

Its a great channel. Old football games, motor racing. Only gripe is sometimes during the games the "info" bar across the bottom gives away the result.

Although it does show "then and now". Saw some tackles sliding in where you just know if it happened now it would be red card and Ronaldo crying. Then they just stood up, checked their perm and carried on.

just watched liverpool newcastle cup final 1974 one of the most accomplished performances ever what a team keegan toshack almost telepathic shankly on the bench,bob paisley smoking a cigar on the bench and tommy smith what a tackler....

Its a great channel I watch it most days for an hour or to, it does show the differance in todays pitches, I just wonder what the likes of Bestie would have been like on todays pitches compared to the mud patches he played on
