Re: Euro 2004

I don't think we've got the squad to do it! We've got an average back four with no outright leader in it, a dodgy keeper who was relegated last year, no natural left sided mid-fielder, and no back up for an out of form number 10 and a petulant teenager up front( who is our only real chance of doing something). Don't get me wrong i would love to see england win it, but i don't think we're a match for the french, italians or the Czech republic.

Re: Euro 2004

All we need is a good run in the league section then its one off games, look at all the cups sometimes you get the luck and before you know its the 1/4 finals and then I think they could beat most teams.
The problem will be not letting the press put them off, draw against someone and its everybodys fault win and you can bet the Sun and the Mirror predicted it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lets hope its the on field antics that get the press.

Hope not, but like another thread on the Stanley board about the Observer throw enough s*it and some of it will stick, looks like the Mirrors good at that.
