Looks like Holloways attempt at throwing a game by fielding a weakened team was only the tip of the iceberg. The FA are now clamping down
There is to be an F.A Inquiry into this weekends football results.
The F.A is disturbed that Man Utd only managed to draw at Villa and that Man City also only managed a draw at home to lowly Birmingham.
Liverpool getting beat at Stoke was enough for the F.A to call an emergency meeting in London today.
Things seem to have returned to normal when Arsenal beat Everton at Goodison today and the F.A board of results was stood down.
Nobody could have predicted what was to happen at Stamford Bridge though and it is thought that the Prime Minister has been contacted to intervene in the obvious match fixing that is taking place.
An F.A spokesman said that their brand was being unduly soiled by the likes of Sunderland AFC, who after many years in the Premier League should know better than to go to Stamford Bridge and get a result. It is also concerned that Blackpool drew at West Ham but isn't thought to be taking any action just yet.
There is expected to be an appeal to FIFA to see if anything can be done about the top teams in England dropping points against lesser teams. Sir Alex Ferguson has said that if his team draw again this season he will take his case to the European Court of Human Rights.
He said "We are Manchester United and we entitled to win every week. He also said he was deeply disappointed that the ref didn't add on the correct amount of injury time to ensure they won the game. "The fact we haven't won shows the current state of football in this country" he said.
Ian Holloway said he would resign if Man City didn't get three points in their next game.
It's all very worrying.
