FA to Investigate Roy Carroll incident.
The Football Association is to investigate after Manchester United keeper Roy Carroll was hit by a coin during the FA Cup win at Everton. Carroll was felled after being hit in the 70th minute of Saturday's match, although he was able to continue.
Spokesman Adrian Bevington confirmed that the FA was speaking to Everton and to Merseyside Police.
Roy Carroll said " I tried to catch the coin but it bounced off my arm".
Alex Ferguson said it wasnt Carroll fault that he is hated by most of the country and throwing things at him was something he will have to get used to untill we can buy another keeper.
Police confirmed the coin came from an Everton surporter as only a scouse would carry money in mersyside and they are looking for the 10 surporters who ran on to the pitch at the end of the game to look for the coin," they may be able to help as not many Evertonians know what a pound coin looks like.
Asked after the game a few die hard Manure surporters said it was a disgrace and they would not travel all the way from London in there new away away away away FACup strips to watch that "whats his name in goal" get blatently fouled by a coin and not be given a free kick or penalty.

Re: FA to Investigate Roy Carroll incident.
First Dudek then Carroll, just a thought but there is a good chance that Liverpool could be the only English club in the next round of the Champions League, now wouldn't that be ironic Man U fans?

Re: FA to Investigate Roy Carroll incident.
You asked a question it was answered, how does the European cup relate to the FA Cup or for that matter the League? As for Byer Leverkusen they beat Roma, Real Madrid besides from Liverpool 2nd team who have the dingles beaten this year? Lets see........
Watford, Crewe and Cardiff or lets not forget the mighty Preston Both ends.
Season Stats Scoring & Conceding No. Rank
Goals For 27 22
Average Goals For 0.84 22
Goals Against 26 3
Average Goals Against .81 3

Re: FA to Investigate Roy Carroll incident.
Milan overestimated Man U and got what they deserved, another win at Old Trafford.

Re: FA to Investigate Roy Carroll incident.
As we've moved off topic lets just use it to mention that Rio and Quintin are defending Christmas Carroll after his last blunder, Northern Irelands second choice shot dropper proved he couldnt catch a cold, the pair said it didnt matter and Utd should have had a hatfull of goals by then, obviously didnt get told that you dont get premier league refs in european competitions.
Peter Kenyon was seen in mothercare buying a new supply of dummies for Jose to throw out of his pram, the reason, he saw Frank Rickard saying.............Hello to the ref!!!!
That is grossly unfair this is the second time Chelski have lost and both times the other manager said hello to the ref, theres no justice in the world.
And finally just for all Arse fans after they were soundly thrased by the sausage eaters Arsene Wenger and David Dein have asked UEFA to abolish Arsenal not winning.
Both men feel that other teams drawing or beating Arsenal is seriously hampering the club’s success on all fronts, as well as upsetting their fans.“Let’s finish it,” said Wenger, “there should be no other outcome than an Arsenal win from when we come in to any competition.”“We don’t want to confuse the fans, “ added Dein “they don’t seem to know the rules so we should change them.” “I do understand the needs of the smaller clubs like Man United and Liverpool, but this needs to be sorted out before we end up not winning anything.”
