Fergie get an award
Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson has collected the Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2005 HMV Football Extravaganza dinner in London.
Ferguson has scooped a host of trophies during his time with The Red Devils and celebrated his 1000th game in charge of the club earlier in the season.The 63-year-old Scot was delighted to win the award. "Ta b recognised for an award such as this is,hic, something ta be proud of," said Ferguson. "But tanite it is more important ta talk aboot the team, aye yon Manchester United da ye ken? I waz a wee boy when I took on the joob at Manchester see you jimmy, and now they are the most famous club in the woorld ya ken, pass the bootle the noo,ay and that, but its all because of me, ay Sur Alex, bow down yer Bas&*^%s, I chucked a shoe at Beckham and look now hes captain of England,hic, Noo I wanna sit doon the noo, drink problem, I desney hav a drink problem, I drink, I fall down, nay problem.
