Blimey, next time you go to Specsavers ask them for a little less of a blue & white tint
I used to frequent Accy in the late 70's ( no I wasn't one of the 2 who came over to cause trouble ), and even then there used to be regular punch up's between both sets of fans on a Saturday night, and that was when they weren't even playing against each other.
Both clubs ( indeed many clubs ) have idiot fans. They use football as a means of further proving that idiocy. 99% of football fans are will stick to the banter and enjoy the match, the other 1% will cause trouble, but then again they will do that on any night of the week under some other guise anyway.
The risk is Accy is greater simply because those idiots live in a town slap bang in the middle.
You will be telling us next that the recent reserve match was cancelled because of the 2 loonies you mentioned earlier. Think very carefully before you answer that one

First of all spignific is telling us Rovers fans are all sweet and innocent, now you are claiming the Accyweb Railway Research team are being classed as VIP's. The world is simply getting far too much like Fantasy Island

Now, now, Granny, you know perfectly well that I didn't mean you. You come from Burnley, so what could be more natural than to support the Clarets? Same applies to Dave. I'm talking about Accringtonians who don't have any loyalty towards their hometown team...and thanks for the tenner.

An example of what i was talking about is the burnley lot (a hell of a lot more than two) that fought police in the black horse after the last game at ewood.
of course some rovers have caused trouble too, including the derby games.in fact in the late 70's it was lads from blackburn that invaded accrington on way to turf moor.
i totally agree that all clubs will have some idiot fans.
i was just stating that the worry this time seemed to be that burnley fans might head accy way to watch the game due to them not having tickets for the game.thats dodgy ones or good fans.
i went to spexsavers today to make sure i can see the match from the fairly from blackburn end tomorrow

Hopefully, we will...but it wouldn't half help if a few more Accringtonians got their backsides up to the Crown more regularly.
