Leeds sign veteran Pressman
Leeds have moved to relieve their goalkeeping malaise by signing veteran shot-stopper Kevin Pressman.
The Whites have been scouring the market for cover for Neil Sullivan ever since the sale of Scott Carson to Liverpool and manager Kevin Blackwell has settled on Pressman.
Pressman has been training with Leeds for the past fortnight and has been signed by Blackwell on a non-contract basis.
The keeper has been without a club since being released by Leicester in January and had little hesitation in agreeing terms with the Elland Road paymasters.
At 37, Pressman is in the twilight of his career but Blackwell will hope he can provide cover for Sullivan for the remainder of the season.
The signing will allow Blackwell to go into games with a keeper on the bench, something he has not done in recent weeks.
