Re: Lisbie Signing For Burnley

Burnley have signed West Bromwich Albion midfielder James O'Connor for £175,000 on transfer deadline day.

The former Stoke City man spent three months on loan with The Clarets earlier this season and impressed Turf Moor boss Steve Cotterill.

The Lancashire club have decided to complete a permanent deal for O'Connor before the Football League's transfer deadline expired on Thursday afternoon.

The Irishman has signed a three-year deal and the 25-year-old was delighted to return to The Clarets.

"I'm delighted to come back and it was a great spell earlier in the season," O'Connor told the club's official website.

"I thought it went really well and that's obviously played a huge part in me coming here now.

"I had a phone call on Wednesday night to say the bid had been accepted and we went from there and I was happy to sign."

Re: Lisbie Signing For Burnley

Ronaldo has 90% decided to sign for Burnley, the Real Madrid hotshot and mega star said in a recent interview with Dingle weekly," I really love the old feel of Burnley and the pitch suits my style of play" when he was shown a photo of the pitch he said he thought that the media were winding him up and only cows or sheep should use it. Steve Cottrill the Burnley manager and all around moaner said he was certain that if he couldn't sign Lisbie then Ronaldo was 90% certain to join the Clarets and help with the push for promotion, being 14th and 11 points off the last playoff place means nothing said the young! manager, only last year we were in the same postion and look what happened we ended up in the same postion, then this year we beat Liverpool in the cup, thats the form of a promotion side, I am 90% certain we will be promoted and you can say you read it here in the Dingle weekly.

Re: Lisbie Signing For Burnley

Exclusive report from our intrepid reporter, a rumor that is sweeping Dingle land is that its 90% certain that Ryan Giggs will join the Clarets when his contract runs out. Chav Dingle said he heard on his way to work this morning that it was a dead certainty that Ryan would be a Burnley player soon. "I was sitting on the bus this morning when two guys got on at the Hapton stop, they were talking about Ryan Giggs and Burnley and I put two and two together and knew stright away that it was an exclusive. As soon as I got off the bus I scronged 50p to call the office and get the story in before it broke in one of the major papers like LET."
Stay up to date with Dingle Weekly, printed every day.

Re: Lisbie Signing For Burnley

Dingle weekly exclusive!!!!!!
Burnley and Blackburn to share grounds!

A rumor on the grape vine is that due to the dingles pitch being dug up and re sodded over the close season if its not ready they will need to share with someone. A spokesman for the club said "my cousins brother works there and he says he's not working Friday afternoons as it payday" a company that will bid for the job said " Its not that big a job, we just finished doing the mrs Simpkins garden and that was a killer, we thought we might have had to hire more people but my 2 brothers really kicked it out quick"
The same spokesman for the club said his cousins brothers best friend had heard that Blackburn was the going to be the place to share.
When we enquired at Ewood a guy on the entrance said we should ask at the loony bin as it would never happen. We at Dingle weekly know that it was a way of putting us off the scent so we sent Chav Dingle to go undercover at the weekly meeting of the Accrington Chav and Burnley supporters (bring a bottle) Club.
Chav can certainly confirm thats plans are a foot to share with Rovers as everything fits in place,
Rovers fans make no noise so no one would know they were there, Rovers never score so they would only need one end of the pitch, Burnley never score so they could use the other end, No one who plays for Burnley lives in Burnley so no travel problems. No one who supports Burnley lives in Burnley(see artical in notw) so again no travel problems.
After intensive investigative reporting its 90% certain to happen!!!!!!!
