Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

BBC Sport - Manchester United 3-2 Stoke: I'll take any kind of win - David Moyes

The Moysiah is finally turning it around, a sound result mid week in the CL, how many times can ypu count on ypur opponents to score for you in the first few minutes, then you mince around for the rest of the game content with the points!
Today Stoke....
Yep the tide is turning, looks like Man U will be winners this year, after all David Moyes record shows what a winner he is.
David Moyes, the gift that keeps giving.

Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

I have been waiting patiently for the scousers to stick there heads above the parapet - perhaps they are stuck up their nether regions. Where were the SaS men, seemed that they were as invisible as the defence - only 3 points ahead of La Crème now BG, how long before we overtake you?
Great day for the deadwoods - is it true that they are organising an open top bus tour to celebrate? See that Burnley are still at the top and a good few points ahead of the deadwoods - are they going to start their revival and a push for promotion next year - the 2014/15 season?
Stanley left it late but salvaged a point (was it a touch of Fergie Time?), and are no longer on the bottom and - another win could lift them a few more places.
La Crème turned on the style in the first half, but 3 substitutions by half time changed the play completely, but 3 - 1 will do me any time.
Beginning to look as though it will be between La Crème and the NN

Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

Well yes we lost, our second loss this season, still it was against Arsenal, the team at the top of the table.
However the Manc's beat the mighty Fulham who are....16th in the table.
Keep the faith Barrie, the we are all counting on David Moyes being the Manager of Manchester United for a long, long, long time.

Do you really think that 3 points ahead now are enough to keep you ahead of La Crème at the end of the season - I bet you still believe in the Tooth Fairy as well as Father Christmas

Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

What a night for the Mancs, great game and what a result 5-2 classic, for City.

Of course another club had a tough night, Real Sociedad refusing to produce a own goal, meant the Mancs only got 1 point on this leg.

It is a good feeling that David Moyes id the manager of Manchester United

Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

What a load of crap, it was almost as bad as watching the scousers.
Until he realises that Young just isn't good enough except for his theatricals, Fellaini, thankfully will miss the next game and Kagawa is useless playing out of the centre. Could understand his idea was probably to save some of them for the weekend but he has got enough strength in his squad for them to do better than that
Still, top of the group, and just as importantly only 3 points behind the scousers in the Premiership and plenty of time to overtake them as usual.

Not much to say about your scouse gits have you, but of course there is so little to be said about them.

Keep dreaming Barrie, the only real chance of any real silverware for the Mancs this season, and the plastics will demand some, is the Champions League. The pressure is building and everyone can see it. Good luck against Arsenal this weekend, is the Moysaiah going to go for the draw?

More chance of silverware than the scouse gits have - going to be even longer for Dodger to win something

Re: Mancie's Thread - The Road to the Titles

Just a thought,
After 10 games the lowest in the Position Manky U under Red Nose was,

2005-2006, 6th Place, they ended up finishing 2nd at the end of the season.
The stats, Won 5, Drawn 3, Lost 2, with 18 points.

Compared to,
2012-2012, 8th Place (their lowest ever in the history of the Premier League).
The stats, Won 5, drawn 2, Lost 3, with 17 points.

The difference was in 2005-2006, you had red nose.
Now you have the Chosen One, who once reached the dizzy heights of 4th with Everton, 2004-2005.

Its nice to know David Moyes is the Manager of choice.

Well Dithering Dave has been managing for 15 years. The Charity Shield was a left over from last season.
Brendan has only been managing for 5, he has some time to go yet to match the ditherer

So are you saying he hasn't won anything?

Subject: The Annual "Scousers Are Not Stupid" Convention
53,000 Scousers meet in Anfield for a 'Scousers Are Not Stupid' convention.

Steven Gerrard addresses the crowd.. 'We are all here today to prove to the world that Scousers are not stupid. Can I have a volunteer please?'

Rodgers, as an adopted scouser feels he should set the standards, gingerly works his way through the crowd and steps up to the stage.

Gerrard asks him 'What is 15 plus 15?'

After 15 or 20 seconds Rodgers says, ' Forty!'

Obviously everyone is a little disappointed. Then the Scousers start chanting 'Give him another chance! Give him another chance!'

Gerrard says, 'Well since we have a capacity crowd, world-wide press and global broadcast media here, I think we can give him another chance.'

So he asks, 'What is 5 plus 5?'

After nearly 30 seconds he eventually says, ' Twelve?'

Gerrard looks down and just lets out a dejected sigh.

Everyone is disheartened and Rodgers starts crying.

But then the 53,000 Scousers begin to yell and wave their hands shouting, 'Give him another chance! Give him another chance!'

Gerrard, unsure whether he is now doing more harm than good eventually says, 'OK then, what is 2 plus 2?'

Silence hangs over the stadium.

Rodgers closes his eyes, and after a whole minute eventually says, 'Four?'

Pandemonium breaks out throughout the stadium as the Scouse crowd stand to a man, wave their arms, stomp their feet and scream,

'Give him another chance! Give him another chance!'

Sorry DinG
