Re: message to Liverpool..fellow northeners :D
Liverpool FC end of season dinner will take place next week. Menu confirmed as;
Starter: Sour Grapes
Main Coures: Plaice (probably 7th, possibly 8th.)
Pudding: select from Ngog, Lucas, Vorinon or Degan
Drinks will be available but strictly no doubles or trebles and there will be no Carling Premier. There will also be a selection of wines served by a fat Spanish bloke with a dodgy beard. ALL drinks will be served in plastic glasses, as cups are not on the agenda again this season.
Please note that dress code is strictly 'late 80s' to celebrate our last league title.
For entertainment Rafa Benitez will be doing his party trick of making £200m disappear into thin air with nothing to show for it.

No Dave that's in the playing rules for all matches played at the Theatre of Merchandising, a copy of which is pasted to the inside of the referees changing room door

10 mins injury time ain't much good when the linesmen are all Chelski supporters (Drogba at OT and now Malouda!)

Re: message to Liverpool..fellow northeners :D
As far as the Prem goes I'd say UTD did well to take it to the last game consdering we lost Ronaldo and Tevez, lost 7 games, had the worst injury list I can remember and maybe for once had bad luck with offsides and such... 20yrs ago there would have been celebrations for finishing 2nd in the league!

Re: message to Liverpool..fellow northeners :D
Drogba's offside goal against United won them the premiership, and all the ABU's say the refs give United the decisions.... Cant think of one that cost anybody more!

Re: message to Liverpool..fellow northeners :D
Well done Chelsea - Poor sad Scousers, are they going to be in Europe next year? Anyone willing to predict whether Benitez, Torres & Gerrard are still there next season?

I'd say Torres will go if he has a decent World Cup.. Gerrard will stay for life because he's a big fish in a small bowl..he knows he ain't as good as he's mates on Sky Sports make out.. the bloke can't even speak English nevermind going to Spain.
