Questions for managers

I am preparing a new section of my Saturday show on Radio Lancs ready for the start of the new season.

The section will be called a "hat trick of hits" and involves an interiew with a northwest manager each week who picks his 3 of his top tracks which will be played in between a few questions.

I am looking for some left field questions, not just who is the best player you have played with, more like Q.if you could have excelled at any other sport what would it have been or Q.BROS or Wham?

I will be putting the questions to as many Northwest managers as possible from Burscough to Blackburn so get your thinking caps on.

Re: Questions for managers

what about this -

If you could pick one manager from any decade to have as your assistant who would it be and why ? ...that can roll the question onto the style of play that the manager he picks used to use...AND to stretch it that bit more you could include players who played under the manager he picks and ask if they would get a place/fit in to his current first team/style of play...

so from that one question you get to talk about a top? manager from the past, a top player? who played under him, and how the style of play has changed over the last few decades...and also a wee bit about his current squad...

not bad for one question and would easily stretch between a couple of songs...

Re: Questions for managers

whats the most hostile place you have been to as a player or manager?

pound to a bag o' shi... Coley says Hereford

if managers were pickles and players were sprouts, would you prefer salad or cabbage?

lets see if they are awake when they get that one.

Sloth (hey you guys from Goonies) or Simon Cowell for your best man?

Re: Questions for managers

What is your ever greatest moment as a manager?

Which is the worst ground where you have got the most abuse from fans?

Would you rather score on the pitch or score in the bedroom?
