Re: Ronaldinho for Rovers?
If it comes off then it'll be great for Rovers. It could see them get a good top half finish, especially if they can get Robinson back sooner than expected.
However, I can't help but see this as a mere Google Page Ranking exercise from the owners. It seems to me like they have contrived a situation where they make a bid for a world class player, showing that they mean business. They know, however, that the player is unlikely to have ever heard of Blackburn Rovers, let alone wish to forgo a move to his native Brazil or a top quality team to play for them. Therefore the new owners are safe if the player doesn't join, having made the fans think that their 'top five team' plan is for real.
Maybe that's just me being too cynical.

Re: Ronaldinho for Rovers?
It will be interesting to see how this develops
Whether it is just some kind of Google Page Ranking exercise or not
My own thoughts for what they are worth is that it would be a major coo for Rovers and would no doubt put bums on seats and increase shirt sales and the Clubs profile on a worldwide scale.
On the other hand what would happen to the wage structure within Rovers knowing that they are paying x amount for Dinho and how would it effect morale with the other players?
I think there are only one signing each for both Rovers & Burnley that I can think of as capturing the imaginations at the time like this one would by this I mean not just in terms of headlines but the ripple effect with fans.
Steve Archibald from Barca to Rovers & Ian Wright from Celtic to Burnley.
Anyone think of anymore?

Prices are always that cost for a category A game, but the Rovers are still one of the cheapest grounds in the prem
