No it was still United even then cashy, but no one mentioned that it was always money bags Rovers, just like its now money bags City, and with your reckoning Mancie, United have bought the league quite a few times themselves, if money is the only thing required to win it

Jack Walker was a True Blue Rover and would'nt every supporter of every other team loved to have had someone geniune like him helping to provide them with some success. The ammount of jealously that still emerges because of the "Fairy Tale" is laughable....everyone wants the underdog to win...unless of course your not one of the underdogs.

To say that we have West Ham to "thank" for winning the title is also a load of Bull....the only way that West Ham had the chance to affect the title destination was if Rovers lost against Liverpool, which we did of course, but had we won that last game, Utd would'nt have been given a sniff, so it was Rovers that actually Gifted Utd that chance, we had been in the Box Seat for ages and still were on the final day! The fact is we nearly blew it...Utd did'nt lose it!!

Best Regards - Taggy

Well if that's the case cashy it could be that Liverpool have tonked United twice this season, the 4-1 win at the Theatre of Merchandising was very impressive
