Sam brings in striker

Sam has signed a new striker Some guy called Nick Blackman from Macclesfield on a two and half year contract. He's also taken Ivory Coast defender Marco Zoro from Benfica on trial, and is close to signing French international defender Gael Givet on loan form Marseille

The lads only 19, and when it comes to picking up talent Big Sam has a good track record, the lad must have something or Sam wouldn't have brought him to Ewood

Well, I'd take him on loan. Maybe I should phone Big Sam and ask him, while Coley's out in Spain?

Just hope it doesn't mean we get Jamie Clark back!
Does seems a strange signing, the lad's only has one first team start for Macc and that was 12 months ago, followed by a few sub appearances - Sam isn't Ince in disguise is he?

Re: Sam brings in striker

Not far wrong there Raver, with the state of our paper thin squad at the moment.

In all honesty I think Jamie will find his level in the Conference/BSP/whatever its name is now. He only seems to score against that standard of defending.
I really don't think his lack of product at League 2 level was anything to do with him receiving poor service from our players (which no one will debate against - even Mullin isn't getting the service required to fill the onion bag). Clarke simply hasn't got the desire to fulfil his potential. If he strapped on a pair I think he could become a succesful League 2 player.

Good to hear about some of Rovers' young players doing well. I've seen Kane and Bunn play and they look promising. Is Treacy in the first team squad now? Seeing as he didn't play in this mickey mouse cup?
