They're killing the game

Tomorrow 5-15pm this years FA Cup Final, that's on the penultimate day of the Premier League Season. The Cup final was a game most football fans looked forward to after the season had finished, but not anymore, its a flaming joke. The European Cup Final is on Saturday night too thanks to the little short house frog, what the hell was wrong with 7-45pm on Wednesday night. The game is nothing to do with the fans anymore, its about fitting in to what the TV channels want. ESPN's coverage of the FA Cup starts at 8 AM in the morning, just one consolation they ain't showing adverts all day, that I do want to see

Re: They're killing the game

TV rules football nowadays. The revenue generated means the FA will allow them, so they don't have to dig deep to help out clubs.

Got to disagree though, with the weekend fixtures for major European Finals, I think its better to get a full house, and as many people watching as possible. As you know yourself most folk work Mon-Fri.

And yes the Cup Final should be after the season has ended.

The season aint finished thats probably the reason , yer forgetting the lower leagues n their gates being affected. But yes the final should be when its finished, seems the euros have cocked that up.

No mate not forgetting owt, season over as far as I'm concerned, for all clubs, before cup finals.

Everybody knows their place, and the gates should not be affected.

The FA cup final could have been played next Saturday and the Champs league the following Wednesday, just like it always was, but that little frog stucks his oar in and everythings gone tits up

Gets even worse next season, you will have to wait until at least 11.30pm on a Saturday night to watch your team
