United game off

Blackpool v United is of tomorrow night seems Fergie has had it called of as a consignment of gloves for Rooney, Nani, Berbatov and Evera can't be delivered in time because of the weather

I was told in the early '80s that snow didn't stick in Blackpool. It did and the town was gridlocked.
So no frost in Blackpool, no undersoil heating - Oysten left a great legacy.

Under soil heating is an essential of the Premier League, but seeing even Blackpool wouldn't have thought in their wildest dreams they would ever play there its hardly a surprise Barrie

I think they surprised themselves as well as many others.
(A foot of snow here just about gone, heavy rain from the SW since
mid-morning)
