Re: Vidic can't stand Manchester & Mancs!

Just read it and comments lower down, where one person quotes Vidic saying his comments were taken out of context and he was speaking about his early days and difficulties settling into a different country.Typical British press playing around with words again

"This sounds like the usual media tripe. Picking up on a comment he has have made and twisting it. Everyone knows the weather in England isn't the best, he was just talking about how difficult it was adapting to the lifestyle when he first started. Heres a statement Vidic recently made about the reports. "I'd like to clarify that I did not make these particular remarks. I spoke about the difficulty I had settling in to life in Manchester, but that does not reflect how I feel now. I enjoy my life very much as a footballer at Manchester United and I'm very happy to be a part of this great club. I think I show that in the way I play every week. I also have far too much respect for the people of Manchester, and England, to criticise them in this way." Full report can be seen on www.manutd.com."

The press are crap, just lazy sensationalism by lazy reporter, using quotes made when the guy came here at first. But you can't blame him, the weather is crap around here anyway
