Worksop v Boring Wood

Apparently there was widespread disturbances at yesterdays quarter-final tie. Worksop thugs attacked one of supporters club coaches as they pulled up. Witnesses say that they were laying into them when a couple of mini-buses full of lads turned up and saved the day. There was further trouble on the ground itself as rival thugs ripped down segragation fences to get at each other. Boreham fans had been promising violence for weeks on the clubs forum but it looks like they were beaten to it.

Lock 'em all in the ground together and let em at each other I say. I sincerely hope they get an away tie at Exeter in the next round and see how they like it at an intimidating place.

Promise me that if we ever have a hooligan following we will all do our utmost to report those at fault. There is no place in football for knobheads.

Re: Worksop v Boring Wood

It was inevitable. Boreham caused trouble at Woking, and Worksop had a big group of youths that seemed to be looking for trouble when we went down there. Why Worksop never had police there to begin with is beyond me

I dont think this forum is the place to talk about football violance in such detail.. especially when it starts with "apparently".. one of the reasons violance at football grounds spread in the 70s was because all the publicity everyone gave it.. and to be quite frank thats all your doing now ..

It's troubling that all this neanderthal behaviour is still going on in football...witnessing the racist abuse in top flight Spanish football over the weekend as well as this disgrace continues to bring the game into disrepute...and it just aint right
