Right you are, man of cash. Just realised that we don't have any other right full back in the squad aside from Glen Johnson. Looks like Wednesday will be another exercise in watching him get skinned for 90 mins

Re: World Cup Thread
Get geoff hurst managing or coaching em, he knows whats what, and formation to use, ie rooney up front and gerrard off sat behind, both say these are their best positions and would be more confident in them. So capello u stubborn old goat listen and change the pattern of yr team.

That's the formation I had in mind.. but King is injured and no Carragher.. I don't think there's much between Lennon and Wright-Phillips.
4-4-2 with Heskey as a stiker has not worked..a change to 4-5-1 can't be any worse.
another worry is that even when Capello did change for the last 10mins the other night by playing 3 strikers, it still didn't work!

Re: World Cup Thread
Just watching the New Zealand game, can't believe the pathetic ref. he must be under instructions to make sure those cheating Ities get through to the next round. Can,t believe the penalty he just gave????? Also the whining and diving, it makes you sick. Where the heck are the men that used to play this game.????

Re: World Cup Thread
thought New Zealand did exceptionally well, some great defending, dodgy descisions, was very disapointed wi ivory coast tonight, got away wi far too many bad tackles n the guy who got Kaka sent off, should be suspended fer the whole tournement fer me, ya need action like that to stop these play acting cheaters.

Re: World Cup Thread
I usually instinctively support the underdog, but that incident put me right off the Coasters. Cheats!

I agree. I hope he gets banned from every other match. I couldn't believe it when Kaka was red carded

Re: World Cup Thread
Mind you the ref Ref was a French Numpty n was asking the players what happened or did he use his hands in the second goal.

I didn't watch the game cashy but have seen the Kaka sending off, what a total disgrace, I only hope FIFA look at this and overturn it, but I'm not holding my breath, it seems that refs are the only people in the world that never make mistakes, well according to the powers that be that is, but we know different
