Re: Engine light thingy

Brake fluid proably needs topping up... Just a guess but when the brakes are involved i'd consider getting it looked at asap!

Re: Engine light thingy

Or could be dodgy connection on ecu, hitting the brakes wobbles it a bit and improves the contact??

West end auto electrics in ossy.. ask for steve or kieth.. best in area promise

Re: Engine light thingy

Already have it booked into redline for FULL service tommorow (long standing booking) so decided as I wasnt using the car (this happened on way back from northwich) that i would leave until then.. Just wondered if anyone had an insight first as TBH I dont have 100% confidence in these guys but dont know where else to go.

Tony, Big al from accy stanley: Mike at Hyndburn vehicle services on Victoria St is brill. He looked after my last car up to it having 110,000 miles on & trading it. It was still sound then & someone got a damn good car despite the mileage. He is reasonable for cost & does diagnostics from £15.00 up. Guaranteed he will not rip u off!
See u next home game.

Re: Engine light thingy

Jstoiles: Sounds like a short draining your battery. Try West End Auto electricians behind old petrol station at West End Ossie. For Citroen try Malcomb at Simpson St ind estate at Hapton. He specialises only in Citroen & is very reasonable pricewise. If you need more precise directions reply back via this site.
